The bi-yearly tidal bore Pororoca creates waves up to 4 meters high that travel up to 13 kilometres inland, upstream the Amazon River, destroying nearly everything in its path… perfect for Nissan’s No Limit Project.

In addition to the specialised film equipment taken from Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo into the Amazon, a complex logistic operation was also set up to deliver the Nissan X-Trail cars from Japan. The final task was to predict the Pororoca’s strike day and the ideal positioning on the river.
