Synopsis: Revealing emotions which are guarded and suppressed in a universe filled with prayers and singing, in which, strangely, silence lies. The kind of silence which needs to, but shouldn't be uncovered. The silence of essential words. The personal story of generations of immigrants whose public lives were completely exposed, but not their intimacies. Not their souls. Silent Words reveals, through the eyes of a young girl, the essence of the Italian settlers' private lives.
