Founded in 1999, the production company was born out of the partnership of two experienced producers: Cristian Marini and João Roni, both producers with more than 20 years of work in Brazil, Argentina and overseas. Its business focus is on International advertising and publicity in Brazil & Argentina, documentaries, television, and music video production. In the field of production services, Ocean Films numbers among the best in the country and has on its client list production companies such as: Anonymous Content, PSYOP, The Director´s Bureau, HKM, Locksmith Content in the U.S. Stink, Independent, Love e Annex Films in England , BRW & Partners in Italy, Compass Productions in Australia, Pyramid Films in Japan, Good Gate in Spain, Soixante Quinze in France, Landia Republica and Rebolución in Argentina, Trigger Happy & Cream Films in Germany, as well as others.
Among the projects that Ocean has produced over the years are: Two documentaries filmed in the Amazon Jungle, “Surfing the Amazon” (produced with Helliventures, from Germany) and No Limit Project (produced with Pyramid Films, of Japan); the Brazilian phase of the documentary U2 3D filmed in 3‐D (with the American producer Cobalt Entertainment), the Ricky Martin music video Jaleo for Sony Music (In partnership with Paradiso Films from Puerto Rico) and the new DVD from Diana Krall Live in Rio with the English Production Company, Eagle Rock Entertainment.
In the area of Cinema and TV projects, Ocean develops feature films, documentaries and TV series in co-production with national and international partnerships.
